The 2018 season finished for almost every team and ins-and-outs news starts to come out. Here is today’s summary about Cerezo Osaka’s transfer and contract news.

  • Chaowat leaves Cerezo Osaka and returns to Bangkok Glass FC (BG Pathum United) as his loan contract expires at the end of the season. The Thai youngster initially had a problem in adapting to the new environment and suffered from injury, but after coming back from injury, he has showed great performance. He played 14 games for Cerezo Osaka U-23 this season (Link to the official release).
  • Osmar leaves Cerezo Osaka as his loan contract expires at the end of the season. He joined Cerezo Osaka on loan from FC Seoul in February. The former FC Seoul captain can play both as a defensive midfielder and a central defender and helped the team a lot when manager Yoon chose to employ the back three system. He played 23 games and scored 2 goals for Cerezo Osaka (Link to the official release).
  • Yusuke Tanaka leaves Cerezo Osaka as his contract expires at the end of the season. He joined Cerezo Osaka from A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers in July 2015. Tanaka is a versatile defender who can play in every defensive position and contributed a lot to the team’s promotion to J1 and winning the titles both as a fullback and central defender. In his three and a half years here, he played 88 games and scored 3 goals for Cerezo Osaka (Link to the official release).

I would like to send my gratitude for their contribution to the team and wish them all the best in their future careers.
