Cerezo start oral health research

Cerezo Osaka Sports Club and Osaka Dental University jointly start a research of the relationship between oral health and sport performance.

Both sides signed a collaborative research agreement in February. According to Cerezo Osaka Sports Club representative director Isao Miyamoto, with this project they “set ’tooth’ as a key theme for nurturing, along with football, studying, and eating, and with it, we aim to produce players who not just can represent Japan but also stand out in the world.”

Associate professor Kazushi Yoshikawa is the man in charge on the side of Osaka Dental University. He will undergo dental checkup at the Academy on a regular basis and examine the relationship between the improvement of oral environment and the change in performance data.
