Cerezo Osaka announced that they have completed the registration of 12 academy players for the top team as category-2 players.

Among them, Ayumu Seko and Hinata Kida are highly rated and expected to be promoted to the top team for the next season as GM Kiyoshi Okuma said they “will surely become players who meet your (supporters’) expectations in the future” last month. Another well-known academy player Toichi Suzuki, who has been selected to the youth national team several times, announced to leave Cerezo yesterday, which surprised the supporters. He will move to the football club of NIAS High School where new signing Mizuki Ando was just graduated from, according to Gekisaka.
